This is my 5th year at Clayton and I love being a Cardinal!
I've been an educator for 18 years, the majority of which were spent in
Dallas and Duncanville, TX. I earned a BBA in Marketing from Texas Tech and
worked in sales for a time before realizing teaching was my true calling. My
teaching credentials were earned from SMU. I've loved teaching every since.
My family and I live in Dripping Springs. My door-to-door commute is only 14
miles. We've been living in the "Hill Country" for the past 4 years and love
Austin and its surrounding area. Prior to that time we lived in Dallas. My
interests include reading, baking, playing piano and ringing handbells at
church. My beautiful 16 year old daughter, Marlyse, is a junior and plays
flute in band. My eldest, Tony, will be a freshman at Trinity University in
San Antonio. His passion is percussion and he will play in the wind ensemble
concert band while attending college. I've been married to my wonderful
husband, Mark, for 25 years. There are also some "furry" family members we
all love. The felines are Charles and Smokie, and Freckles is our dog.
