A man knew he had 26 socks in his top drawer.  There were 6 blue socks, 8 
brown socks, and 12 black socks.   He wasn't tall enough to see which color 
socks he needed, so he had to grab the socks at random.  What is the least 
number of socks the man would have to pull to make certain that he had a pair 
of blue socks?



Week 1:  Problem #300
 Two sisters are running laps around the school track to raise money for the 
school tennis team.  Regina had time to run only one lap on the first day, 
and her sister rellie ran six laps.  They both agreed to run one lap a day 
each day after their first day's run.  How many days will it be before Rellie 
has run twice as far as Regina?
