Please sign your child's agenda/planner once a week. 20 points is earned
by simply signing your name, and your child earns the other 80 points by
filling in each day's assignment.
6th - no homework; MUG on proper adjectives, imperative sentences, and
declarative sentences; read "Mowgli's Brothers" to c/c with the movie scene
in THE JUNGLE BOOK by Rudyard Kipling; reminded students of our BOOK-IT!
goals and to "step it up"!
7th - study spelling LIST 3 for homework; proper adjectives and general
editing especially for possessive nouns; working on series of personal
narrative writings
8th - vocabulary quiz Act I, Scenes 4-5 - DIARY OF ANNE FRANK on Wednesday;
assignment and sentences to finish in class on Tuesday and they're due on
Wednesday; gerund phrases vs. participle phrases
