This will be my twenty-first year teaching middle school English. I love
teaching middle school students and choose to stay in this field every
year. It's fun learning with these young men and women.
I graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas of the famed
book/movie/tv show FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS in a class of almost 800.
Afterward, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English with a Teacher's
Certification from Schreiner College (now Schreiner University) in
Kerrville, Texas. Before teaching in Coupland, I taught four years in
Stanton, Texas, and two years in Tacoma, Washington.
My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 21 years, and we have
an 15-year-old son named Austin and a 4-year-old daughter named Kamryn. Our
kitties are Halo, Maximus, and Isabella. We now live in Elgin.
My mission is to have fun while learning. I want my students to be able to
successfully communicate now and in the future.
