I am originally from the great state of Illinois, but found my way to Texas
when my dad was transferred with his job. I attended The Woodlands High
School in The Woodlands, Texas. While there I was actively involved in the
Speech and Theatre Department. The Junior College I attended was Lon Morris
College in Jacksonville, Texas. I received an Associates Arts degree with
an emphasis in Theatre. After graduating from Lon Morris, I attended Texas
State in San Marcos. While in attendance, I received a Bachelors of Fine
Arts in Theatre Education. This past December I successfully passed the
Speech certification test, and I am now a certified 4-8 Speech teacher!
I am so excited to be returning for my second year at Cross Timbers Middle
School. I know that this year will offer many successes, and I am looking
forward to accomplishing those with your student. I am also glad to be back
at a school that has such an outstanding reputation in the community.
I believe it is my job to teach students the importance of public speaking,
while allowing them to find their inner creativity through performing. I
