Jade Dragon School Supply List

Due to parent input over the past few years, your son/daughter will now receive two supply lists. You will receive one from the school during schedule pick-up and locker assignment that lists the basic needs for the first few days of school. The list below is an itemized list of additional supplies required by the Jade Dragon team teachers. It is imperative that all students have these supplies no later than the start of the second week of the school year. Teachers will have collection stations in their classrooms for students to drop off materials. These items will then be sorted and distributed to all teachers on the team for student use.

1 pkg. large manila construction paper

1 pkg. regular multi-colored construction paper

1 pkg. white board (dry erase) markers - bold tip only

1 set of FOUR highlighters (multi-color package)

1 pkg. of glue sticks (4+ per package)

4 pkgs. of lined 3x5 index cards

20 tab dividers (for use in all classes)

1 pkg. graph paper

1 pkg. thin washable markers

1 pkg. thick washable markers

1 pkg. (12 ct.) map coloring pencils

1 pair of sharp scissors

1 clear 12 in. ruler

GEOMETRY

1 three subject spiral notebook

TI-83/84 calculator

4- AAA batteries

1 protractor

1 compass

1 Geometry Template (will show students in class before purchase)

ALGEBRA

1 inch binder

1 TI 83 or TI 84 Graphing Calculator

4 AAA batteries

PRE-ALGEBRA

1 three subject spiral notebook

Notebook paper

#2 pencils

PLEASE NOTE!

• Students may purchase additional binders and spiral notebooks to fit their own organizational needs. Additional supplies will be required throughout the school year.

• This list excludes novels and the Vocabulary Workshop book. Those items will be availabe in the DMS library during the first few weeks of school. Students will be notified when they are available. It is imperative that students purchase the books through the DMS library so that they will have the correct edition of the novels.
