GRADING SCALE

HOMEWORK / ABSENT WORK:

§        All homework must be completed, including reading assignments, as it helps you prepare for the next day’s activity.  You will turn in your homework at the front of the room in the marked bin for your class.  Check the agenda on the board daily and on the website.

§        There will be at least two tests per six weeks and projects count as test grades.

§        Retests will be given during tutoring time, except Pre-AP in which there are no retests allowed.

§        If you are absent,

o       Check the agenda at the front of the room of what you missed or the website.

o       Any handouts used will be in a bin marked “make-up work” at the front of the room.  It is your responsibility to pick up any make-up work.  You have the same number of days to complete the work as you were absent.

o       Completed make-up work should be labeled “make up” and turned in to the homework bin for your class.  If it is not marked “make-up” it will be assumed to be late work.

o       If you miss a test or quiz, I will assign Extended Day for you and the rule for make-up work applies (one day make up for every day missed).

TARDIES:

If you happen to be tardy you will sign the Tardy Log located in the front desk binder.

EXPECTATIONS:

1.      Listen carefully and follow directions.

2.    Respect people and property.

3.     Be kind with your words and actions.

4.    Be on time to class with all required materials.

5.     Avoid behavior disruptive to the learning environment.

6.    Keep noise at an appropriate level.

7.     I will give you my very best; I expect you to do your very best in return.  Know the procedures.

On a side note, I do not tolerate any kind of misbehavior in the Lab.  If you do something that puts yourself in danger or anyone else in danger you will be immediately removed from the lab and disciplinary actions will be taken.
