Congratulations to the 51 students who were inducted into the 2008-2009 chapter of the Dawson Middle School National Junior Honor Society!

This website will be the primary communication tool for this organization. Students are expected to check it frequently for meeting information, agenda's and other pertinent information. Because this is an honor society with an emphasis on developing leadership, it is expected that students take on all responsibility for acquiring information and contacting sponsors regarding activities, attendance, etc. Thank you.

NJHS is an 8th grade organization consisting of students who achieved a raw cumulative average of 95 during the first five six weeks of their seventh grade year. Raw scores refer to the actual grade earned without rounding up. All CISD campus' with NJHS abide by the same guidelines. When figuring cumulative scores, there will not be any weighting of averages due to higher level math or science classes. All students should be working on their ability level. Students transferring into CISD who have already been inducted into NJHS will be considered members if they provide a copy of their induction certificate.
