Please be aware that CISD e-mail services are currently unavailable. Teachers have had only
minimal access to e-mail services since Monday morning. Today no services are available. There
is no way to guarantee that e-mail will be received once services are restored. If you have
tried to contact teachers via e-mail, please contact the office by phone 817/949-5500 and leave
a message for the teachers through voicemail.

The Tradition "Special Edition" 11-6-2008
VETERAN'S DAY ASSEMBLY "PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN"
Tuesday, November 11th at 2:00 p.m.
We encourage parents to join our students and staff for this assembly. If students or parents
have a family member or friend who has previously served or is currently serving in the
military, we would love to have them in uniform at the assembly. The Dawson band and choir will
be performing at our Veteran's Day assembly. Students will be reading essays, etc. and winners
will be recognized.
Red/White/Blue: We are asking all students and staff to wear Red, White and Blue on November
11th.
Please join us as we celebrate our veterans, our freedom and our country!

This year DMS will begin to utilize a new e-mail system, called Constant Contact (for those of
you with students at the high school, it is the same system used to send out the weekly Dragon
Diary). We will use this system to help keep you informed of happenings at Dawson Middle
