I began teaching at DeepWood in 1982, after I attended Southwest Texas State
University - now known as Texas State. Most of those years I have taught 2nd
grade, but I have also taught first and third grade. I have always enjoyed
teaching at DeepWood, because the staff, parents, and students are friendly
and it is my neighborhood school. My husband and I have raised three
Deep Wood dinos with the youngest now attending A&M.
