HAVE A WONDERFUL AND SAFE HOLIDAY BREAK!!
At this point in the school year, we are not able to do schedule changes. Any
change to a teacher would require a complete team change, and any changes
regarding serious academic issues must have administrator approval.
We encourage parents to please contact your student's teacher to set up a
parent/teacher conference. Teachers are more than willing to hear your
concerns, and the counselors/administrators are happy to assist with any
conferences.
Please know the counselors want to be available for you and care about your
children. The students here are our number one priority, and so we spend as
much time during the school day working with them individually, in groups,
classroom guidance lessons, appointments with parents and community resource
personnel, or supporting the teachers in meetings to advocate for all
students. This leaves little time in our day for walk-in visits. Please call
or email if you would like to arrange an appointment with your student's
counselor, and we are more than happy to meet with you as soon as possible.
As a reminder, Laura Cathcart has all of 6th grade and 7th grade L-Z.
Jennifer Pugh has all of 8th grade and 7th grade A-K. We look forward to
working with you on behalf of any social/emotional, academic or career
exploration needs of your student!
