I was born and raised in sunny, Southern California. I attended California
State University, Fullerton and earned a BA in Communicative Disorders. I
then moved to Rochester, New York to attend the Rochester Institute of
Technology. The school in which I earned my degree was the National
Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) which is a sister school to Gallaudet,
another deaf college. There I earned my MS in Secondary Education for the
Deaf.
After graduation, I moved to Austin, Texas. I live here with my family.
I enjoy traveling, reading, music and sports. My favorite color is green!
This is just a little about me... but as the year progresses, I plan to
continue learning about the students I teach and encounter.
