We were able to schedule a morning walk with Mr. John Knight (RRISD Transportation Director) for Monday 05/14/12 @ 7:15am.
>> We would also suggest parents bring bulky backpacks/ instrument cases (as our children would be expected to carry) and cameras and/or video cameras to record the crowd of people walking down the narrow (5ft) sidewalk. The walk will start at 7:15 at Agarita and AW Grimes, and proceed all the way down to Chandler Creek. Then we will walk back to our starting point.



>> We would proceed with this appointment and invite DFT, Hernandez, and Stony Point  parents to join us to walk down A.W. Grimes during the morning rush hour to capture the true scenario of walking down A.W. Grimes.  Our intent in setting this up was to be the 'boots on the ground' that many have been requesting from the district.
>> This may also be an opportunity to provide public comment at the 05/17 final board meeting - since we all know there is no better testimony than a first hand account. If anyone has any questions they can call or email :
