BOOK FAIR
The DFT Library hosted a Book Fair by Scholastic Books on Feb. 27-Mar. 2,
2012.
Students and parents purchased books for their home
libraries at this time. 25% of the profits went to the library to
purchase new materials and fund the AR Program.
Teachers also had wish baskets of books that they wanted for
their classrooms at the Book Fair. Parents and students purchased many books
for their teachers' classrooms.
This year we also had an Online Book Fair for parents and
others who can not make it to the fair. They ordered online and the school
will got credit for the orders. The books were shipped to the school and
delivered to the students unless otherwise chosen by the purchaser. The
online fair had a wider selection of books.
Many volunteers helped us with the fair. A special thank you to them. We
could not have done it without their help.
Feb. 28 was our Family Night from 3:00-7:00 PM. We had a
special day for Grandparents to come up on Thursday, Mar. 1.
Thanks for your support of the book fair. I was one of the best ever.
