This is my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at Double File Trail and I am very
THANKFUL to be back!! I am
beginning the 22nd year of my elementary teaching career. I have taught 4th,
3rd and 2nd grades. I
was born and raised in New Orleans,LA and moved to Round Rock in August 2006
(following Katrina).
My husband (Michael) & I have been married for almost 20 years and we have
one daughter (Lucy)
who will be in 5th grade this fall! We have a huge yellow lab named Jacques-
Imo and two kittens (Camellia & Domino). We absolutely LOVE
the SAINTS and are so proud of the SUPERBOWL champs!!! We also support
the "home" teams of LSU
tigers and the NO Hornets! I love to collect fleur-de-lis and my favorite
color is hot pink.
I'm really looking forward to a great year with my new class!
We will be attentive listeners. We will be respectful and caring. Each day
we will try our personal best to become good readers, writers, and problem
solvers. We will work hard to get ready for third grade!
