Dear Parents:
Instruction begins at 7:45 a.m. Please help us make every day a meaningful
learning experience for your child by stressing the importance of beginning
each school day on time and seeing that she/he is not tardy. Students who
arrive in class after 7:45 a.m. miss valuable learning experiences.
Round Rock Independent School District Students-Parent Handbook states:
Parents are expected to ensure that their children arrive on time. A student
is tardy if he /she is not in the classroom when the tardy bell rings at 7:45
a.m. Students must report to the office or designated school area when tardy.
Parents will be notified when tardy are excessive. Perfect attendance awards
may be impacted by tardiness. Excessive tardiness will be referred to the
District Officer.
Parent Volunteers: If you plan to be a WATCH DOG, go on a field trip,
volunteer in the classroom, or work with students, you MUST complete the on-
line application AND receive approval.
Visiting Campus? To ensure the safety of our students, Double File Trail has
a Raptor system for all adults that enter campus. In order to go to any
classrooms, adults need to show ID and register electronically. This applies
to classroom in portables as well.
