Dear Parents:
Welcome to kindergarten at Double File Trail Elementary!
I am looking forward to a new year where I will have a chance of meeting you
and your child.
My name Maria A. Hamilton. This will be my seventh year at Double File Trail
and my 9th year working with the Round Rock School District. I am from
Santiago, Chile. I’m fluent in Spanish and teach ESOL (English as a second
language).
I graduated from Texas State University in 2004. I am certified to teach Pre-
K through 4th grade.
I have been married for 27 years. My husband and I have two teenage sons
and a dog named Smoky. Matthew attends Texas A & M College Station. Ethan will
be a Senior at Westwood High School. Smoky is our family dog
(Schnauzer) and loves to get the newspaper every morning for us!
