6th Grade Music Class

Thank you to the Carroll Education Foundation!

We were recently awarded a grant from the Carroll Education Foundation which has allowed us to purchase 21 guitars for our classroom. With the eight we already own, we now have enough guitars for each student to play during our guitar unit in the spring! I am soooo excited because we will be able to learn so much more this way!

Here are some photos of our Vibration Station lesson. Students travel to six stations to learn about the properties of sound waves and vibration. Next, we apply what we learn at these stations to discover how different musical instruments make sound.
