Hello, my name is Jan Bonnette-Breaux. 2011-2012 is my 9th year at
Fern Bluff Elementary. This is my 14th year in Round Rock School District. My
how time flies by!
I am a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, "Cajun Country", and a graduate
of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), currently called ULL.
Although I call LSU my own. The New Orleans SAINTS are the #1 team in the
NFL!
I am the proud mother of two beautiful children. My oldest, Joshua,
is also a graduate of ULL (as is my 2 sisters and father, probably because
Dad was also a College Professor there). Josh and his wife, Cheli have been
married a little over a year ago and live in beautiful, GREEN Nashville, TN.
My daughter, Juliette, is a graduate of Texas A & M and has returned to
College Station where she resides. I gained a son-in-law in January of this
year, as they were married in the heart of winter! It was absolutely
beautiful and perfect!!!
In addition, I have one 4 legged friend, Little Lottie, my sweet
(tazmanian) ShihzaPoo. She is spoiled rotten.
As for myself, I love to travel and see new places. My favorite places
are on the water whether it be on a river, lake, or beach. I can shop with
the best of them! Visiting with friends and family as often as I can is
another past time I treasure. Listening to live music is also a favorite of
mine, so living in Austin couldn't be a better place to enjoy that.
We are having a wonderful year thus far. Our first semester seemed to
fly by. I am really enjoying teaching your children, they are a very sweet,
good group of kids! Please feel free to contact me anytime by email,
classroom phone, a note from home, or write in the Agenda. The Agenda should
be coming home nightly and should be signed by you nightly. IF you are not
seeing it, please question your child about it. The more informed I am of
your child, the better equipped I am to reach them and go beyond meeting
their needs.

My mission is make life long learners with all the children that pass through
my classroom doors. I hope to touch their live's in a positive special way
that they will keep with them always.
