*Study those multiplication facts!

 *Planet Project is due Monday, November 23rd.
 

        We are starting to learn about our Solar System and your child will be making a project to contribute to their learning.  The project will be due on Monday, November 23, 2009.  The directions are as follows: the student will develop no more than a 5 minute presentation promoting the development of a community on the planet of their choice (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, or Neptune).  They must include:  facts about their planet and what could be done to make this environment a place where humans could live.  Your child may choose to present their project in a variety of ways: a video, diorama, diagram, or poster. The project will be graded as follows:

·       Gives accurate details and examples about their planet.

·       Includes creative yet feasible ideas about a community on their planet.

·       Presentation includes colorful photos or drawings of their planet.

·       Presentation is clear and well developed.


*The Book Fair will be held December 1st-3rd.

*There will be a Science Fair interest meeting on December 7th at 6:00.

*December 9th is Early Release at 12:45.
