This is my third year of teaching and my third year at Fern Bluff. I am so
thankful to have the opportunity to teach at a school with such amazing
parents and students!
I grew up in Farmersville, TX, a small town northeast of Dallas, TX. My
parents currently live in Farmersville and I have a younger brother, Alexander, who is a freshman at
Baylor University.
I have have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. When I was in 1st
grade I decided I wanted to be a teacher, and I never once changed my
mind! I love the learning process, and I love seeing the growth in students
from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. I hope to instill
a passion for learning in each one of my students, and I hope to impact each
student in a positive way.
I graduated from Baylor University in 2007. I received my Bachelor of
Science in Education degree with a specialization in Gifted and Talented, and
I also minored in music. After graduating I got married on June 2nd. My
husband, Kyle, is in his third year at the University of Texas pursuing a
Doctorate of Musical Arts degree.We also have two dogs, Molly and Miles, two
very important members of our family! :)
Things I love include spending time with my husband, family, and close
friends, reading, Baylor (sic 'em bears!!), shopping, coffee, and of
course, children and teaching!!!!
I am looking forward to a fantastic year!!!
We will work hard every day, and we will
always try our best.
