Read It Forward:
3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Program
We are a community of readers. Some students find an invitation to join our group of readers on their desk and they start our chain of readers by getting one of the chosen books from their teacher. Then they read it, sign the inside cover of the book, then pass the book on to a friend. This process continues. When finished reading the book, the students come to the library to put a raffle ticket into a bin for prizes along the way. The novels are all Bluebonnet Books so they count as one of their Bluebonnet Reads as well as joining our Book Club to discuss books with friends. In March a few of the students may want to apply to join a represenative team from Fern Bluff to represent us at the Battle of the Bluebonnets - a districtwide event answering questions about the Bluebonnet Books for fun!
