What Are We Doing in Art?


Kindergarten will learn how artists use emphasis in their work. 

 

1st grade will learn about the ancient Greeks and recognize the three kinds of columns.

 

 2nd grade will learn about the ancient Egyptians.

 

3rd grade will learn to draw forms and use them in a composition.

4th grade will learn about the culture and art of the Native Americans and make a yarn weaving. 

 

5th grade will learn how to draw a picture using linear perspective.
