Celebrate your child's birthday or special occasion by donating a new
hardback book to the school library. Each book that is donated will have a
special book plate on the inside cover to honor your child's birthday. Your
child will be the first one to "check out" the birthday book.
The Birthday Book Club is a program in which you can celebrate your child's
birthday in a special way and help our library collection grow. You don't
have to wait for an exact birthday - you can join anytime! Half-birthdays
are fun to celebrate, too. Books may also be purchased in honor or memory of
a special teacher or individual!
Please choose a book title from our wish list and purchase the hardback book
from a local bookstore. Fill out the birthday bookclub form, and send the
book to school as soon as possible (at least two weeks before your child's
birthday to allow time for processing.)
If you would like to purchase a particular book that is not on the list,
please email me at honakerp@friscoisd.org to see if our library needs a copy
of the book that you want to purchase. Thanks!!
