I am very excited to be returning to Forest Creek Elementary this year.
I have been teaching for 20 years. I began teaching in San Antonio
where I taught elementary and middle school students in a variety of
programs which included resource, content mastery, and a self-contained
behavioral unit. Since moving to Round Rock, I have taught resource, a self-
contained behavioral unit, and I have co-taught in an elementary class.
My husband and I moved to Round Rock 12 years ago. We have a 9th grade son,
Thomas, and Sarah, our 9 year old daughter, is in Third Grade. After
my daughter’s birth, I stayed home for 2 1/2 years. My family and I like to
camp, fish, read and play board games. My daughter is a girl scout and my
son is in the marching band at Stony Point High School. My goal is to have
kids enjoying learning and feeling good about themselves.
I think that you must read to become a better reader and you must write to
improve your writing skills. This can be a challenge for students who are
currently struggling with these skills. It is my job to help them build
their skills and confidence by giving them the academic tools needed for
learning and encourage them to take chances and challenge themselves in
their learning. I can only achieve this with your help and support.
I know that there can be no learning if someone is uncomfortable or
concerned. The class will have a variety of instructional methods and
activities to enhance the student’s strengths and meet their academic needs.
Please encourage your child to talk to me, if they have any concerns. You
may also reach me to address any concerns or needs. The best time to reach
me is during my conference period Monday-Friday from 1:50-2:40, call me @ 464-
5396 or you can email me at Debbie_Webb@RoundRockISD.org.
I look forward to working with you and your children this year. Feel free
to stop by and visit or call. Together this will be a great year!
We will do our personal best and we learn everyday.
