Where did Einstein Club come from?
Einstein club was an idea that was seen on a master teacher in Oregon's website. It was
adapted to meet the needs of 2nd graers by Mrs. Newton, but the majority of the work was
compliled by Mrs. Renz.(http://www.redmond.k12.04.us/mccall/renz/)

How do I get into Einstein Club?
There are a variety of questions that a student can choose to answer that may or may not
directly relate to our curriculum. It is my hope to challenge children to achieve new
knowledge while working collaboratevely with their parents or on their own. You can choose to
be a one star member or a 70+ star member. It is up to the child how many questions they want
to answer. AGAIN, THIS IS SUPPLEMENTAL TO THEIR DAILY ACTIVITIES AND IS NOT A
REQUIREMENT.

How do I get in the Dempsey Hall of Fame?
To get into the Dempsey Hall of Fame you must correctly answer 15 questions. I will add your
name and it will remain on my wall. Those who answer 70+ questions will receive a special prize!

How do I complete an assignment?
To participate, choose a question and find the answer(s). You may bring the website given
or find the answers from another resource and bring it in for me to grade. You must have written
down the question with your answer. Some of the math problems may ask you to print out a
certificate, therefore, you can bring that in as well. You will have a folder to put all your
Einstein Club things in with a checklist included in it. Students should be ready to explain
why they chose the question and the answer they found.
GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN!
