This is my 31st year as a second grade teacher. My husband and I have been
married 32 years. We grew up in Friendswood, went to school in FISD and KNOW
that it is a great place to raise children. We have raised 3 sons here who
have all graduated from Friendswood High School with honors. They have all 3
attended or are currently attending Texas A&M University. My 2 oldest sons
married wonderful girls who graduated from A&M, too. (WHOOP!) My oldest son
is the youth pastor at our church, Friendswood Friends Church. His wife is the
owner/teacher of a dance academy called Chara Christian Dance Academy here in
Friendswood. They gave me my first grandson who will be 2 in Oct. My middle
son is working on his doctorate in Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M
University. His wife is an ordained pastor, working as an associate
pastor at Montgomery United Methodist Church. They are expecting their first
son in Sept., so I get to be a grandma again! My youngest son is currently a
Senior at Texas A&M University with a major in psychology & pre-med.
I will be partnering with Mrs. Annetta Dinjar this year. She will be teaching
Math, Science, & Social Studies. The subjects your child will be
studying this year with me are Reading, Language, Spelling and Handwriting.
I value having your child in my classroom. When your child is with me, be
assured that they will be loved, taken care of, and will get the best
educational experience I can give them.
My goal is to have your child loving to read, expressing themselves
through writing and learning about themselves and how they relate to
the world around them. We will be working throughout the year on the
following character traits RESPECT, CARING, TRUSTWORTHINESS,
FAIRNESS, RESPONSIBILITY, and CITIZENSHIP as we work together in
the classroom to get along with one another.

success for your child!
