I have lived in Friendswood for the past 13 years. My husband, Wade, and I both graduated
from Pearland High School. I have a Master's in Education from the University of Houston. I
taught 6th grade in Pearland for 4 years, then came to Friendswood ISD and taught third grade
at Cline from 1999 -2004. I left teaching to stay home with my girls when they were babies, but
wanted to come back into the classroom when my youngest started pre-k in 2009. I have one
son, Brady, who just graduated from Friendswood High School this past May and moved to
College Station in August (and I'm missing him already!). I also have two daughters, Maci and
McKenna, and they both attend Cline here with me, which I love! Maci is 8 years old and is in
third grade in Mrs. Lyles' class (although she really wanted Mommy to be her teacher!) and
McKenna is 6 and is in 1st grade. I think 3rd grade is such a fun grade to teach!! I believe in
making learning fun and my goal for my students is to foster a love of reading and
writing! I want my students to love school and to be excited to come to my class every day!
