I received a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Houston
in 1993. Go Coogs! I will graduate in May with my masters degree in
Instructional Leadership from the University of Houston Clear Lake. I
have experience teaching every grade at the elementary level; teaching
Kindergarten, First, Second and Third Grade. For the last two school years,
I served as the Elementary Instructional Specialist for the district. This
school year I have the privilege of working with all the grade levels as a
Reading Interventionist.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and fellow Cougar, Michael.
We have a beautiful son, Dylan who is in the 7th grade right here
in FISD. My family resides in Friendswood and we too, share the mustang
pride. We stay busy with Youth Lacrosse and surfing (I do not actually
play lacrosse or surf...I watch, cheer and offer support! LOL) If I find
spare time, I enjoy reading, shopping and going to the movies with my best
girlfriends!:)
My ultimate goal is to provide a safe, secure, nurturing learning environment
that accomodates the individual needs of all students. I want to have open
lines of communication with teachers, administrators and parents/guardians.
