WEDNESDAY - MATH WORKSHEET - READ AT HOME
THURSDAY - READ AT HOME
FRIDAY - RELAX - READ AT HOME SOMETIME THIS WEEKEND

BEE BINDERS:
We are using a "BEE" Binder this year. The BEE stands for "Bring
Everything Everyday". The pocket on the inside front of the binder is used
for notes to and from home. The money pouch is for sending any money to
school for lunch, pictures, T-shirts, anything involving money. Please
remember to put the money in an envelope with your child's name and label it
for lunch, pictures etc. If I get the five dollar bills it is hard to know
who gave me what and why. The next thing is our red homework folder. This
folder contains our phonics pattern for the week and a place for the children
to record behavior color for the day. Please sign this section each day.
The last thing I have included is a plastic envelope or pouch that will
contain our home readers. These will come home after all of the reading
tests have been completed. I am hoping this system will be helpful for you
and for me and help our children begin to develop organizational skills.

FRIDAY FOLDERS: Each Friday folders are sent home with flyers,
announcements, and completed work. Please look over your child's
work. Applaud successes and clear up misunderstandings. Lots of our
work this year will involve hands on, active participation. Sometimes there
will not be much paper work in the folders. Please keep the papers that come
home in the Friday folder. Sign and return the empty folders on Monday.
