Homework

School is out! But that doesn't mean your brain needs to stop learning!
Here's a list of activities you can do to stop the "brain drain" this summer
and be ready for 4th grade:

Read, read, read, and go places in the books!
Read to younger and older brothers and sisters!
Memorize all addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts for
fluency!
Review vocabulary in your spiral, and speak using "big" words!
Practice spelling patterns and sounds, high-frequency words, and rules for
adding endings!
Keep a journal of your summer fun!
Write imaginative stories and poems!
Email your last year's teacher to keep in touch!

But most of all, HAVE FUN!
