Mrs. Roher:
I lived on an Indiana farm most of my childhood. I attended Barclay College
in Haviland,Kansas and received a Bachelor of Science degree.
I have been a third grade teacher in Kansas for five years. I taught in a
self-contained classroom. I have been a preschool director at Friendswood
Friend Church for the past six years and also had the opportunity to be at
home with my two children. This is my fourth year at Cline Elementary in
second grade and I enjoy working at this school.
My children are Maggie and Reed Roher. Reed will be a seventh grader at FJH
and Maggie will be a freshman at FHS. My husband is Thad Roher and is
Assistant Superintendent for the school district. I love being a wife and a
mother. They all bring much joy to my life. My family enjoys being
outdoors. We have a family cabin in Piney Woods, Texas that we try to escape
to as much as we can.
My family has been in Friendswood for twelve years. I feel fortunate to be
living here in Friendswood and also the opportunity to be teaching in this
school district. I am so excited to be back in the classroom.
Mrs. Holtvluwer:
I was born and raised in Friendswood and I am very excited to have the
opportunity to teach in this district. This is my ninth year at Cline
Elementary and ninth year to be teaching. I graduated from Texas A&M with a
degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading. I am a BIG Aggie
fan and I love Aggie football! WHOOP!
I am married to Nate who is one of the Cline P.E. teachers. We have been
married for 8 wonderful years. We have two kids, Hudson and Elaina. Hudson
is 4 and has just started pre-school. Elaina is 2 and keeps us on our toes.
We also have a dog named Buster. I am really excited for this opportunity to
be able to teach and be home with my children.
