I am a certified Reading Specialist and this is my 11th year with Friendswood
ISD. I am also an Adjunct in the School of Education at the University of
Houston at Clear Lake. I am an Instructor for the Greater Houston Area
Writing Project and a member of the National Writing Project and the Texas
Writing Project. I am currently a Doctoral Candidate at Sam Houston State
University.
I live in Friendswood with my husband and several rescued cats and dogs. I
have 3 sons and one daughter. My daughter, Jennifer, was on the swim team at
FHS and
graduated in 1998.
My first grandson was born March 15, 2010.
We love to travel and enjoy family activities.
My goal is to improve reading and the reading experiences of all students at
FHS and students throughout the district.
