Although I grew up in Seattle, Washington, I have more recently been living
in Colorado. I love being active outdoors and I especially enjoy mountain
sports. Now, I understand that I’ll no longer be able to snowboard, but I’ve
enjoyed learning to wakeboard; and though the hiking trails seem far less
abundant in this area, I’m told the fishing possibilities are limitless.
I live with my wife Caroline and our dogs Leo and Murphy in Pearland.
Actually, we added a new family member this year. Etta Abigail Reed was born
on September 14th.
Although this is my third year at Friendswood High School, I have been
teaching secondary English for over ten years. Previously, I taught for nine
years in the Peyton School District which incorporates a small rural
community east of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
