All teachers in FISD are dedicated to providing our students with the strong
mathematical foundation they will need to succeed at college and beyond.
As a teacher, I try to instill in my students a love of learning. I am open
to learning from them which hopefully helps them to be open to learning from
me. Even if it is a small success, then I try to acknowledge and celebrate
it with my students. The math classes I teach are foundational for student
success in future classes, therefore I emphasize the importance of students
taking charge of their own education. Education must be a cooperative
venture between the student and teacher.
