How can I get extra help when I am at home?

Go to www.PHSchool.com and find the Homework Video Tutor for the
lesson you need help with. Every lesson in the book has a
Homework Video Tutor to help student review the skills covered in
class. Look in your student book on the left hand side of each
page for the green GO arrow and the words Homework Video Tutor.

When I am absent, what do I need to make up?

When students are absent from my class, they are responsible for
ALL information/activities during the class period. They must
not only pick up any worksheets they missed, they must also get a
copy of any notes, warm ups, or other activities we reviewed that
day. Anything we do (except for homework, quizzes or tests) may
be copied from another student.

I will give Tests, Quizzes, Reviews, etc. based on all class
information, not just on homework given.

It is the student's responsiblity to be prepared for any such
assessment of class material.

How can my child go from 7th Grade Math to Algebra I and skip Pre-Algebra?

There is a state law in place about the issue of 7th grade
students in Regular 7th Grade Math "skipping" Pre-Algebra and
moving on to Algebra I.

Contact the school counselors about this issue if you have
questions.

How can I stay more informed on what is going on in the math classroom?

Do you want to be informed on what is going on in the math
classroom?

If so, you can receive emails and/or text messages from Coach
Fritts reminding you of important information about
the “happenings” in math class.

Note: this is not daily homework info but rather general info on
dates, deadlines, tests, projects, etc...things that apply to ALL
of my classes.

All you have to do is go to my website:

http://teacherweb.com/tx/friendswoodjrhigh/coachfritts/index.html

Once on my site,

• Click on NEWSFLASH

• Click on SUBSCRIBE

• Select either SEND EMAIL TO MY COMPUTER or SEND EMAIL TO MY
MOBILE DEVISE

• Input the information requested, then click Add at the bottom
of the page. (if you choose to receive text messages, enter your
phone number with just the numbers, ex. 8323968287)

You will now be able to receive text messages or emails from
Coach Fritts.

It is easy and it is a great way to stay informed…but the key is
YOU have to set it up.
