In order for our class to run with ease and in an organized manner, I am
requiring that every student have the following supplies.
1) A three-ring binder (2 inch works best) that is dedicated to
math only. This binder should be divided into four sections either by
pocket folders or tabs:
a) Section One: Warm-ups
b) Section Two: Notes / Vocabulary*
c) Section Three: Assignments
d) Section Four: Tests & Quizzes
* A spiral may be used for notes and vocabulary, but it should be inserted
into this section of your math binder so you always know where to find it.
2) Two pencils must be brought to class and sharpened at the
beginning of class period. Mechanical pencils are acceptable as well, but I
do not have extra lead. *Pencils will be sold for $0.25 (no change will be
given).
3) A pen (any color) needs to be brought to class every day. We
will use this to check homework.
4) Loose-leaf paper needs to be brought to class every day.
A math book is provided in class for your use every day. Please leave your
home math book at home!
PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE EACH AND EVERY DAY.
Also, random supply checks will be taken and used as an assignment grade.
