About The Teacher

I am originally from San Antonio. I have a BA in Biology from Southwest 
Texas State University (Go Bobcats!) and a MS in Education from Texas A&M 
Corpus Christi. While living in Corpus Christi I worked as a Biologist in 
the agricultural field for several years before teaching 7th and 8th grade 
science. We moved to Friendswood 6 years ago. My first year in Friendswood 
I taught Biology and Integrated Physics and Chemistry at the high school. I 
really missed teaching 8th grade and was ecstatic to move to the Junior 
High. This is my fifth year at the junior high. My husband is a district 
manager for a national retail auto parts store and we have a 9 year old 
daughter. 

I love Starbucks, Smoothie King and FUZE LoCarb drinks (the watermelon and 
tangerine are the best!)
