Sept. 21 - 25
Students have been given a project to complete by Wednesday.  They started this last week.  There are a variety of camera shots I am looking for and students have received a word document describing each image needed.  Students need their cameras to take these photos and download them to the computers and place them on a word document.  Students will learn how to take a Word Document and convert it into a PowerPoint presentation with a click of the button.

Oct. 22 - 30
Students have been learning about StudioWorks, a web-based program used in designing layouts for our yearbook.  Students have also hand drawn layouts using the draft paper.  During the week of Oct. 26th, students will be learning about InDesign and how to draw their designs using this program.  Watch for quizzes next week over these two programs.  Photos are due from all students on a regular basis.

Nov. 16-20
Students continue to work in Photoshop.  We are learning about the tools, filters, and how to make photo adjustments.  Students will correct photos, change photos and learn how to crop photos this week.  I will be taking daily grades on class activities throughout the week.

Nov. 30 - Dec. 4
Students are working on lessons covering copyright, fair use, plagiarism, public domain, and paraphrasing.  A test will be given at the end of this unit.
