This process is one that is used in all of my classes. It is a process that includes the creation of a
Social Contract between the students and myself. It truly works too!

Red Ribbon Week
The Character Counts program is one that is used each day in our schools. The six pillars are
modeled and encouraged to all of our students. When students are observed demonstrating one of
the pillars, they may receive a Character Counts yellow slip. This slip is to be taken to the library
and drawings are held weekly.
Character Counts
This organization is for 8th grade students only. Seventh grade students are inducted into the
organization in the Spring of each year. Mrs. Sharon Martin and myself are the co-sponsors at FJH.
