10/27: PreAP ONLY - The Next Science Project due date is 2 weeks from TODAY!! It's Thursday 11/10. This is a TEST GRADE!! Check your packet for what is due, the grading rubric is included. No late work is accepted, as this is a long term project and the due date has been known by students since the first week of school. Science Fair in particular, your abstract is due. An abstract is like a summary of your project. It's supposed to get someone interested in your project without telling them the conclusion (like the description on a book jacket). Check Mrs. Marshall's website for instructions on how to write an abstract. Please ask questions this week before it gets too late.
10/27: Students and Parents, it is VERY important that students keep up with their Chemistry Bag Projects. We work on them the entire nine weeks and students have opportunities to work on them in class. If they forget their bag at home, it is their responsibility to get caught up. Chemistry Bag's should either be left in class or brought to class each day. Many students did NOT bring a paper bag as instructed since Monday (reminded each day in class, written on board). Those students are not showing responsibility for this project. This needs to be corrected immediately, as this is a test grade and will have progress checks throughout the nine weeks.
