Do we have homework?

Do we have to write this?

Yes!!! Rule of Thumb for this class: If I write it, you write it.

Do we have to do Science Fair?

Pre-AP students are required to do an out of class project, and Science
Fair is one of the options for this. However, should a student in a regular
7th grade science class want to enter the fair, they may get the information
and due dates from me and it will count as a major grade (possibly replacing a
low test grade in the same category).

Do I put my late work in the normal turn-in folder?

No!!! Late work goes in the designated tray in the back of the
classroom. There is a big RED sign
that says "LATE WORK" on it. Follow the instructions on this sheet
of paper, or your work will NOT BE GRADED.

How do I read my grades on Gradespeed?

If there is a zero in a place, that means that the time for accepting the
work late has passed and the
grade will remain a zero.
If the student can still turn in the assignment late, the letters 'msg' will
appear in a box for a
particular grade. This averages a zero into the student's average so that
they know what not turning
it in will do to their grade.
An empty box means that I have not entered grades for the assignment yet,
but it has been turned
in.
