Howdy!  This is my sixth year at Friendswood Junior High and I love it!  I
graduated from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and had my fifth wedding
anniversary this summer.  My husband and I live in Pearland.  I attended Clear
Creek High School, but am so happy to be in a smaller, but exemplary school 
district.  I took students to Costa Rica this summer and we had a blast!  I
will be doing a trip to Italy and Greece this summer, so let me know if you're
interested!

I enjoy anything associated with music as well as playing a few
instruments myself.  Singing, reading, movies, and drawing are some of my
hobbies. I have a sad Starbucks addiction that goes well with my love of
Barnes and Noble.  

I come from a family full of boys!  I have four brothers: two are 26 years 
old, a 25 year old, and a 7 year old (Yes I said 7!).  He is in 2nd grade 
this year and loves to read!  I am originally from South Carolina, but have
lived here since I was 11, so I consider myself a Texan. I love sports
(watching and playing) so if I have any athletes, please tell me so I can
watch you in action!

My Goals for the Class

Science is an ever changing and fascinating field of study.  I have always
carried a deep respect and love of science and hope to pass these views along
to my students!  I hold a high bar for my students but am very confident in
their ability to reach it.  My expectations are high and my will is strong! 
This group of students is terribly talented and bright.  We should exceed our
goals in the classroom this year!  Responsibility and a willingness to learn
will aid in each students success in this class.  I look forward to this
exciting year and to the amazing accomplishments to come!
