NEW IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR 7TH GRADE STUDENTS
There are new immunization requirements that affect students entering the 7th grade in August 2009.
The following immunizations must be obtained prior to registering your child at the Junior Hight School
in August.
MENINGOCOCCAL VACCINE
2ND DOSE OF VARICELLA (Chickenpox)
TDAP BOOSTER
Please submit the records to the nurse at the Junior High ASAP.
SCREENING
Fitness Gram testing will be done in March.
Scoliosis screening will be performed on all 8th grade students. All students will
be required to remove shirts for this screening so please make sure girls wear a sports bra on the day
of screening.
Boys PE classes will be done March 1st and Girls PE classes will be done March 2nd. Anyone missed on
those days will be completed on March 4th.
Non-PE students will be tested on March 30th and 31st.
