Daily Assignments

DAILY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT:
1) Copy the class notes (handwritten) in your spiral notebook. Write
the vocabulary 1 time in English and 3 times in Spanish.
Example: 1. Good morning: Buenos días. Buenos días. Buenos días.
2) Read the notes out loud saying the English word once and the Spanish
word THREE times.
3) Get a family member or friend to quiz you over the Spanish
vocabulary. Or you can quiz yourself by first covering up the Spanish side
and then the English side of the vocabulary lists. You may have a pop quiz
over any notes in the past week.
4) ***Practice the vocabulary in a conversation with someone.*** (Most
important part!!!)
5) This homework assignment is not intended to take more than 15-20
minutes a day.
6) These rewrites will be checked as a homework grade on Spiral Exam dates.
7) If there is a note below on the date that says "HW: None," that means that they are excused from
this assignment on that date's notes. Also, if there is another homework assignment that day
(example: flashcards), they do not have to do the note review. (I don't give 2 homework
assignments on 1 night.)

THE SPANISH NOTEBOOK IS ALSO AN ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK IN WHICH STUDENTS ARE
SUPPOSED TO WRITE DOWN THEIR DAILY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS, TEST DATES, AND
PROJECT DUE DATES. You may check their notebook for this information. If it
is not there, they are not copying all of the class notes and are therefore not
complying with classroom rules.
