About The Teacher

This is my 6th year as a teacher at Garden Oaks Elementary.  I have also 
taught 2nd and 3rd grades here.  I'm very excited to be teaching Science.  
It is my passion!  I have a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of 
Agriculture degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M 
University.  I also have a law degree from University of Houston and 
practiced law in Houston prior to returning to UH for my teaching 
certification.  I have lived in Garden Oaks for almost 20 years.  My 
daughters (now in high school and middle school) attended Garden Oaks 
Elementary.

This year I also get to teach Social Studies (American History) and Language 
Arts (spelling, writing, and grammar) to my homeroom class.
