ATTENTION PARENTS

Family Access to Skyward Grades

Every effort will be made to post daily assignments by the end of the week.

Major tests, all projects, and writing assignments require much more time to grade carefully and might take up to 2 1/2 weeks to be posted. 

Note: Grades will be up-to-date Tuesday of the 4th week of a 6 weeks (Progress Report time) and by Wednesday morning of a new 6 weeks. (Report Card time)

A grade is only MISSING if it has a 0 as the score. 

Assignments will be listed before they are assigned or graded. 

Skyward marks these “missing”. Remember: NO ZERO = NOT MISSING

Parents - Please be aware that this is the year the Texas Student Success Initiative (SSI) will affect our 8th graders.  This requires that 8th grade students must meet the passing standard on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests in reading and mathematics before they can be promoted to Grade 9.  8th graders will take the TAKS Reading test in March 2009.  There will be two more dates available for students who do not pass.
