Grading Policy

Make-up Work: According to the Grisham MS student handbook "when a child is absent one day he/she has two days to make up missed work. If the absences exceed one day, he/she has an additional day for each day missed." Students are expected to check the class website for missed homework and reading assignments.

Late Work: Assignments are to be turned in on the date due. Students who fail to turn in completed homework on the due date will be required to attend detention daily, either before or after school, until the assignment is received by Ms. Mack.

Grading Policy:
Daily work/ Homework 30%
Quizzes 10%
Test/Projects 60%

Failed Test Policy: Students receiving a failing grade on a test or quiz will be retested. Project assignments earning a failing grade must be redone within 5 days.
