Mr. Hank grew up in San Antonio, TX and moved to Austin during the 8th grade.
After attending
Leander High School he earned a Bachelors in Music Education from Baylor
University in Waco, TX. Baylor University was chosen because of its rich
Christian experience as well as its prominent music faculty.
He student taught at Grisham Middle School/Westwood High School and taught for
two years at
Lamar Middle School in Flower Mound, TX. Mr. Hank is very excited to begin
his fourth year of
teaching at Grisham Middle School. Mr. Hank has also served as a faculty
member of the Interlochen Summer
Arts Camp in Interlochen, Michigan and is currently a member of the Texas
Music Educators association and the
Texas Bandmasters Association.
Nicholas Hank now resides with his wife, Michelle and dog, Daisy in Cedar
Park, Texas.
I will use a worldly approach to imparting basic to complex music fundamentals
to every student so
as to facilitate the greatest effects of music making possible. In other
words-we are going to learn
how to play our instruments, how to play them well, and have fun doing it!
