Watertown Trip!!

Hallsville Middle School Band
WaterTown Trip

Dear Students and parents,

On Saturday, May 16th,
the Sixth Grade Band will make our annual trip to WaterTown.
We will meet at the Jr. High Parking Lot at 9:00AM.
We will arrive at WaterTown at about
10:00 and remain there until 3:00PM
when we will depart for HJH and arrive back at
4:00PM. Please make sure that your child
has transportation arranged so that no one
will have to wait with them.

Please remember that this is an amusement park with water rides.
There are many lifeguards on duty,
but if your child is not an experienced swimmer,
please make sure that we are informed about that.
You may call, email or send a letter to us.
Students will be required to stay in groups of not
less than 4 students to help insure
that there are “buddies” while they are in the park.
If you would like more information about Watertown,
go to www.watertownusa.com .

The admission into the park will be paid by the Band Booster Club. The students will
be responsible for food, souvenirs, tube rentals, and locker rental. Students will
need to remember to bring sunscreen, towels, sunglasses, and some kind of foot
protection (the sidewalks are very non-skid). The students’ swimwear should be modest
(two piece swim suits are permitted). There are changing rooms in the park if they
want to change clothes.

We will also need some parents to go with us as chaperones. If you are interested in
this, please let me know. The students have made a tremendous amount of progress this
year and I know that we will have a wonderful trip. If you have any questions, please
call the school or email us at the numbers below.
